Ages: 10+ or in 2nd year of Ballet

Contemporary Dance (formerly titled ‘modern’) is a unique form of dance, blending techniques, taught through stretching, center and floor work combinations, traveling progressions and choreography. Artistry and performance, as well as mental alertness and observation skills, are emphasized. Space, time, and energy are explored as elements of movement. Contemporary is a fusion of modern, jazz and ballet/lyrical techniques.

Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
